These Terms of Service govern your use of the Memoria Helvetia website and the purchase of memorials and related services from us. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms.
Orders and design approval
Every memorial is made to order. Production starts only after you approve the final design proof.
- After you place an order, our designer prepares a design proof, usually within 3–5 business days.
- You may request revisions until you are satisfied with the design.
- You are responsible for checking names, dates, and inscriptions on the approved proof — production follows the approved design exactly.
- Cemetery regulations (size, shape, material) are checked by our team, but final approval is given by the cemetery.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include design, production, and standard engraving unless stated otherwise. Delivery, installation, and cemetery fees may be quoted separately.
- A deposit may be required to start the design.
- The remaining balance is due before shipping or installation.
- Financing options are provided by third-party partners and are subject to their terms.
Production and delivery
Production usually takes 6–10 weeks after design approval. Delivery and installation dates depend on the cemetery’s schedule and weather conditions. We will keep you informed at every step, but we are not responsible for delays caused by cemeteries, permits, or events beyond our control.
Cancellations and refunds
- Before design approval: you may cancel your order for a full refund, minus any design fees already incurred.
- After design approval: memorials are custom-made and cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started.
- Damage on delivery: report any damage within 48 hours with photos — we will repair or replace the memorial at no cost.
Warranty
Our granite memorials are covered by a lifetime warranty against structural defects of the stone and a 25-year warranty on polish, engraving, and lettering under normal conditions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, vandalism, ground settlement, or improper cleaning.
Use of our website
All content on this website — including designs, photos, and texts — belongs to us or our partners and may not be copied or used without permission. You agree not to misuse the website or interfere with its operation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version published on this page applies to orders placed after the update.
